Inquiry Description
Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008 project file formats are different, are there separate versions of the VBUC for Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008?
Troubleshooting/solution
The project file format used by the VBUC will depend on the version of Visual Studio installed on the machine performing the migration. Whichever version that is installed will be used to generate the project files. If both versions are present then the latest version usually takes precedence.
To target a particular version then only install that version of Visual Studio on the migration host.
